Good place as ever to note my probably most giddy find ever... Loehmann's with my mom when she visited to go to my first bridal gown fitting, the Barneys' rack, Missoni aqua-tan-cream chevron knit leggings... marked $200 from goodness knows how much, definitely over $1k. I brought them in to the dressing room 'just to try'... LOVED THEM. Thought, oh hell, I'll get these over all other items I was considering... rang up for something like $40, plus an additional percent off.
PSYCHED
Have worn them once, on our honeymoon with a long drapey tailed white chiffon silk tank (dubbed the 'bridal tunic' by my maid-and-man-of-honour when I wore for wedding-prep-morning) and lucite-and-tan-suede Margiela wedges. Really want to find a perfect creamy knit dress to winterize them.
